From that small workshop in Mogliano, where wicker was brought to life in timeless forms, the journey of Braid commenced - a path that unites artisanal craftsmanship with the most advanced aesthetic research
With the generational transition in the 1970s, the company transformed its artisanal heritage into a design language, opening a fruitful dialogue with the world of architecture and design. To day this evolution, guided by the entrepreneurial vision of Domenico Guzzini, has led us to reinterpret tradition through innovative materials and prestigious collaborations, all while maintaining our enduring attention to detail that has always set us apart

Braid design lab
Braid Lab is the creative atelier established in 2005, serving as the innovative heart of a company with a long-standing tradition in the industry. Leveraging decades of expertise and the experimental approach of the Design Lab, we develop cutting-edge solutions that cater to the most exclusive needs: from the hospitality sector, with dedicated projects for resorts and hotels, to tailored collaborations for selected clients.
Refined aesthetics, the development of excel - lence in products, and the selection of premium raw materials are the cornerstones of our method. Every project begins with a thorough analysis of market trends and needs, allowing us to define a brief that guides the creation of collections and customized solutions.
The creative process is rigorous: sketches, de - tailed technical drawings, 1:1 scale prototypes, material and finish testing, refinements of shapes and structures, all the way to durability tests. Only when each phase meets the com - pany’s quality standards is the product appro - ved for production and launched in international markets.
